As recently announced by airport spokesman Doug Myers, this will be the third new concession the airport has open since October 2018. At that time, Chick-fil-A opened, followed by the Empire Deli, which opened in April 2019.

A Wolfgang Puck Express is also nearing completion and is expected to open the week of Nov. 12.

Other projects at the airport are also continuing.  The new 1000 space parking garage is on schedule for completion in March 2020. Four passenger boarding bridges were replaced during the summer of 2019, with three additional bridges replaced in 2018. The new garage will be equipped with state of the art wayfinding technology that will guide customers to available parking spots rather than the customer having to drive around looking for spots on their own. New pay-on-foot stations are also being added along with enhancements to EZ-PASS payment options. The new passenger boarding bridges are equipped with cameras allowing the operator to see below, and around the exterior of the bridge providing visibility to the operator along with new heat and air conditioning units inside the bridge for customer comfort.

Boardings for August 2019, which is historically one of the airports busiest months, was up 3.9 percent over August 2018 with a load factor at 92 percent.
