We were founded in 1927 as a division of Pan American Airways and formerly known as Pan World Services. Avports invests in, develops, manages and operates a diverse range of airports: commercial and general/corporate aviation airports, passenger terminal facilities, military bases, joint-use airports, heliports, NASA facilities and spaceports.

We have provided airport management services at ALB since 2005, on behalf of our sponsor – the Albany County Airport Authority. Employing a local staff of 185, we oversee the 1,000-acre airport as the single source provider of airport management, operations, maintenance, snow removal, Part 139 certification compliance, janitorial services, ARFF, parking lot and shuttle bus operations, and an art program through a $67.3 million operating budget.
ALB currently offers direct commercial scheduled service to 21 destinations with 7 Part 121 air carriers Additionally, the airport is the home to NYSDOT’s aviation group (Governor’s fleet) and the New York Army National Guard (Helicopter Unit).
Airport Synergy Group (ASG) is a strategic cooperative between Avports, Jacobsen|Daniels and Consolidated Management Professionals (CMP). The ASG partners formed the Airport Synergy Group JV for the sole purpose of evaluating, forming, and operating airline consortia and other joint service operations around the United States.
In January 2021, ASG was awarded the contract to oversee the DANTeC operation at DTW, including the baggage handling
systems, passenger loading bridges, preconditioned air and 400Hz, GSE fuel storage and distribution, FIDS/BIDS, potable water cabinets, terminal conveyance systems, and other shared services.

In March 2022, ASG was awarded the contract to oversee the TBITEC operation at LAX, to operate, maintain and manage select airline equipment and systems at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, West Gates, Terminal 1.5 and Terminal 5 of LAX. ASG is also providing other support services to the more than 50 airlines using the TBITEC ASG managed facilities.
Home to the NASA Ames Research Center and the California Air National Guard, Moffett Field Airport is a joint civilian-military airport bordering the cities of Mountain View and Sunnyvale, California that is operated under FAR Part 139 Safety Standards.
After Planetary Ventures won the bid from NASA for a long-term lease of the 1,000 acre facility in 2013, we were selected in 2015 to provide airport management and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services at Moffett Field Airport. Since then, we are the single-source provider of airport operations, airport maintenance, administration, fuel farm services, accounting services and noise abatement.
Republic Airport (FRG) is a general aviation reliever airport and the third busiest aerodrome (based on the number of operations) in the State of New York, behind JFK and LGA.
Avports has been providing comprehensive airport management services at FRG since 1993, on behalf of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) . We are the single-source provider of airport operations, airport maintenance, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), administration and accounting services. Avports and FRG entered into a 40-year contract in 2016.
MidAmerica St. Louis Airport (BLV) is the airport of choice for leisure travelers in the St. Louis region. Governed by St. Clair County Public Building Commission, BLV offers a full spectrum of commercial airline service, cargo operations, and general aviation services.
In November, 2021, the St. Clair County Public Building Commission (PBC) approved the selection of Avports, LLC, to provide aircraft rescue and firefighting, airport operations and security services for MidAmerica St. Louis Airport. We started our service provision at BLV airport in July 2022, in coordination with the local airport authority and community stakeholders.
New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) is a regional, small-hub airport located in New Windsor, NY, and sponsored by the Ports Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ).
Avports has been providing comprehensive airport management services at SWF since 2007. in 2019, Future Stewart Partners (FSP) – a joint venture between Groupe ADP and Avports – finalized an agreement with the PANYNJ to manage the facilities for a 10-year term. Responsibilities of the new FSP agreement include operation of the terminal both landside and airside, managing and developing the airport’s concession program, and overseeing air service development services.
With its excellent location in the New York & New Jersey metro area, and in close proximity to New York City, Teterboro Airport (TEB) is one of the busiest general aviation reliever airports in the United States and in the world.
We have been providing comprehensive airport management services at TEB since 1970, on behalf of the airport sponsor: the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ),. We are the single-source provider of airport operations, airport maintenance, administration, accounting services, noise abatement and engineering and planning support services.
Avports has been providing comprehensive airport management at HVN since 1998. We are the single-source provider delivering airport operations, maintenance and janitorial services, administration and accounting services, aircraft rescue and firefighting, engineering and planning, and parking operations.
The Tweed-New Haven Airport Authority Board of Directors and Avports finalized in August 2022 a new lease and management agreement under a Public/Private Partnership (P3) framework, which includes the construction of a new terminal on the east side of the airport; a runway extension; infrastructure improvements; and community investments for noise, traffic, and environmental mitigation.
Westchester County Airport (HPN) is a regional small-hub airport located in White Plains, Westchester County, NY. It is one of the busiest combined commercial and general aviation airports in the United States and the world.
Avports has been providing comprehensive airport management at HPN since 1977, on behalf of our sponsor – the Westchester County. We are the single-source provider, delivering airport operations, maintenance and janitorial services, aircraft ground handling, administration and accounting services, engineering and planning, noise abatement and environmental services, and aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF.)
Airglades Airport is a county-owned public-use airport in Hendry County, Florida, United States. It is located 5 miles (8.0 km) west of the central business district of Clewiston, Florida.
In 2010, Hendry County, the airport sponsor, recognized the benefits that a major perishable air cargo complex at Airglades would bring to the county and to the region. The FAA approved the County’s preliminary application to enter the Airport Investment Partnership Program (AIPP). Avports was part of the application as the provider of future airport management services. Avports is currently providing operational support, planning and design review services to the project development consortium.
In August 2023, the Manassas City Council endorsed a resolution approving the 40-year lease agreement between the Manassas Regional Airport and Avports. The airport will secure Federal Aviation Administration approval for commercial passenger flights while Avports secures its first “proof-of-concept” agreement with a commercial carrier to run up to 10 flights per day out of Manassas.
Once all regulatory approvals are in place, Avports is planning to expand the terminal building to provide additional air service and passenger experience. Avports will also take full responsibility of operating and maintaining the parking facilities, terminal and ramp areas.
