Executive Vice President, Technical Services
Mr. Kurtz is the longest tenured member of the company’s senior management team having joined the organization over thirty-nine years ago when it was a division of Pan American World Airways. Over the course of that time, Mr. Kurtz has held a variety of technical and engineering positions within the organization, and is currently serving as the Executive Vice President, Technical Services. As the Executive Vice President, Technical Services of Avports, Mr. Kurtz is responsible for all planning, construction and development activities at the company’s various airport locations.
As the company has grown and expanded its menu of services, Mr. Kurtz has also assumed the added role of overseeing the facility management services offered by the company. Mr. Kurtz is the principal liaison with the Federal Aviation Administration for planning and programming under both the Airport Improvement Program and Passenger Facility Charge Program. His duties include the long range planning and programming of all facilities improvements, development of long term capital investment programs, and project management of all construction projects.
