Interim Director of Air Service & Business Development
Mr. D’Amico joined the AvPORTS team in 2012 as an Air Service Development Analyst and currently serves as Interim Director of Air Service & Business Development responsible for leading all air service strategies at client airports and strategically expanding the company's platform. With a background in city and regional planning and seven years of aviation experience, Mr. D’Amico brings a unique perspective to growing airport assets, working closely with current and potential clients to identify and strategically pursue market opportunities.
In his current capacity he has managed multi-disciplinary teams developing Airport Strategic Business and Marketing Plans, led numerous community engagement efforts, and has supported the analysis and airline presentations that resulted in more than two dozen new and expanded air service routes for AvPORTS clients over the last four years. Mr. D’Amico has served as a member of the Intergovernmental Relations in Aviation Subcommittee of the Transportation Research Board and is currently a Small Airports Committee member of Airports Council International-North America. With his educational background that embraced a community perspective and his professional experience working for and with the municipal, regional and state levels of government, Mr. D’Amico is passionate about maximizing the potential of the client communities he serves.
Mr. D’Amico holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Spanish from Franciscan University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
